Winters in San Antonio, Texas were usually pretty warm.  Our "Christmas clothing" was more often comprised of t-shirts than sweaters.  We still decorated with Christmas trees, lights and snowy scenes, but it wasn't until I moved to New York City last year that it all really made sense to me. ;)
